Cuarteto Moon 

Hello! We are CUARTETO MOON, an eclectic string quartet born in the city of Barcelona, Spain, beginning of 2018. Our crossover repertoire covers different genres and periods, from Classical to Modern, including Rock, Pop, Tango, Jazz, Film Music & More. Our current members are Álvar Llusá-Damiani, Jor Villarnovo (violins), Adrià Gorrias Cardona (viola) and Denisse Iula (cello).

 

We have huge experience in collaboration with different kind of projects, such as the electronic music group Playback Maracas, with whom we have recorded the album Playback Maracas & The Electronic Moon Orchestra and performed in important stages such as Razzmatazz and the festival Barcelona Acció Musical 2019 – a concert filmed and broadcast on Barcelona TV. We have also made an appearance in an episode of the TV series 'Merlí: Sapere Aude', performing a piece by Franz Schubert.

We have performed at Concerts, Private Events & Weddings in spectacular venues from Spain, France and Portugal, such as Palau de la Música Catalana, Teatre Gaudí Barcelona, CC Sant Martí (Ciclo Resonare), Cúpula de las Arenas, Hotel María Cristina, Hotel La Gavina, Ca N'Alzina, Castell de Sant Marçal, Château Engalin, Airelles La Bastide, among many others.

 

Besides our current Repertory, we are always willing to prepare new music. We have already arranged 16 songs for String Quartet & Soprano -and have even collaborated with an Scottish bagpiper- at the specific request of our clients. We can write our own arrangments, therefore we can prepare the music you prefer for your event. Bring up your own ideas! :)
